What The ShriGuru Network is
The ShriGuru Network is the online learning platform of ShriGuru Vamanan Sesshadri, a Vedic astrologer, tantric practitioner and teacher based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It brings his recorded courses and live programmes together in one place, so that a learner anywhere can study at a steady pace, return to a lesson as often as needed, and keep a clear record of what has been enrolled in and paid for.
The courses are taught mainly in Tamil. They are open to learners in India and to the Tamil-speaking community across the world.
The approach: Vetham and Vigyanam
SHRIGURU's teaching brings two things together.
- Vetham
- The classical sources of the Vedic and tantric traditions, taught as they have been handed down: what a practice is, where it comes from, and how it is traditionally done.
- Vigyanam
- A plain-language explanation of how attention, intention and repetition shape the mind, so that a learner understands what a practice asks of them and why.
The courses are educational. They explain traditional knowledge and practice. They do not promise any particular result, and they are not a substitute for medical, legal or financial advice. The full Disclaimer sets this out.
What a learner can expect
- Recorded courses that can be watched at the learner's own pace, and live programmes held on announced dates.
- The fee and the access period stated on each course page before payment.
- Access on the website and on the platform's mobile and desktop applications.
- Payment through a secure third-party payment gateway, with an invoice for every payment.
- Support by email and phone for any question about access or payment.
How enrolment works
- Choose a course. Open the course list and read what the course covers, its fee and its access period.
- Create an account and pay. Sign up with an email address, then pay by one of the methods offered at checkout.
- Start learning. Access begins as soon as payment is successful, and continues for the access period of that course.
